Joanna Palani is facing punishment from Copenhagen City court after she violated Denmark's 'foreign fighter' rule, which aims to stop Danes to fight alongside terror groups. The girl is being tried under the same law though she went to fight against the IS. Denmark has made such a strict law to strengthen domestic counter-extremism efforts, due to Denmark having one of the largest numbers of foreign fighters in Syria per capita. Palani had an earlier brush with Denmark's laws for violating travel restriction imposed on her after her passport was confiscated by police and the Danish intelligence service PET. Cyclone Vardah: How and why was it named

Cyclones explained: How are they named, what constitutes them and how do they differ from typhoons and hurricanes. How are cyclones named? Tropical cyclones passing over the northern part of the Indian Ocean are named by eight countries in the region, namely India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Myanmar, Oman and Thailand. The process only began in 2004, fours years after World Meteorological Organization agreed in principle to allow them to name cyclones originating in the Bay of Bengal and Arabian Sea. One in three couples struggle to conceive due to poor semen quality. The only treatment available for couples unable to conceive naturally is In vitro fertilisation (IVF), but using poor quality sperm may increase the risk of miscarriage, birth defects and the development of childhood cancer, researchers said. The Lenovo CPlus is a prototype smartphone that can roll up and be worn around your wrist. With Gartner predicting worldwide annual sales of more than 1.5 billion units, here a few ways that smartphone devices could evolve in the coming years. When Steve Jobs unveiled the first iPhone in 2007 (also known as the "iPhone 2G"), it broke all the codes of the mobile phone market at the time. The device caused a sensation with its 3.5-inch touch screen, which could be used without a stylus thanks to multi-touch technology. It offered Edge, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity and ran its own operating system. The iPhone was even picked as the year's "Best Invention" by Time magazine. Little by little, the smartphone -- defined as a cell phone with a touchscreen, connected to the internet and able to be loaded with various applications -- took over from more basic flip-phone handsets with limited functionality. Prime Minister Narendra Modi. PTI "Sab taraf ha-ha kaar, ye hai Modi sarkar" Expect this slogan to resonate through Uttar Pradesh as Prime Minister Narendra Modi's political opponents get ready to turn the impending election into a referendum on the NDA government's demonetisation plan. A month ago, when Modi outlawed currency notes of higher denomination and caught the country by surprise, there was a lot of confusion among opposition parties. Some like Mamata Banerjee wanted complete rollback, some like the Congress and SP wanted to talk about the lack of groundwork before rolling it out and some like Nitish Kumar and Naveen Patnaik supported the strike on black money. But, with the mood on the ground changing every day, the Opposition seems to have finally decided to contest the election on just one issue - the impact and efficacy of demonetisation. Several news reports and talks within party circles indicate that the Congress and Samajwadi Party are on the ...
