After renowned Indians now our eyes on sansad.nic.in, warned Legion

New Delhi, Dec 13, 2016:The hacker group which call itself ‘Legion’ and claims responsibility for the four high-profile Twitter account breaches. Now, warned that its members now have their eyes set on sansad.nic.in — which provides email services to government workers.
In an interview with The Washington Post on Monday through an encrypted instant-messaging software, “Legion” said the group has access to servers like that of Apollo Hospitals and it was unsure about releasing data from those servers because it might cause “chaos” in India.
“Legion wasn’t even interested in ‘political data’ until a few weeks ago. …the group was in possession of several terabytes of raw data concerning all sorts of ‘interests’ and that within that trove the hack .
The hacker group also claimed that India’s digital banking systems are vulnerable to cyber attacks.
“We… ourselves have confidential data pertaining to NPCI /IDRBT (hub servers, and even have the encryption keys/ certificates used by some banks in India,” Legion said. However, the group seemed to suggest that it was not particularly keen on exploiting this weakness.
Legion, is the same group known to have hacked Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi’s Twitter and email accounts two weeks ago, following that up by hacking into the official accounts of the Indian National Congress.
The group also hacked the Twitter and email accounts of controversial liquor Baron Vijay Mallya, TV journalists Barkha Dutt and Ravish Kumar, as well as news channel NDTV. The group has made public the dumps of some of these email accounts.
