All you need to know about Salman Khan’s Tubelight co-star Zhu Zhu


Zhu Zhu, Chinese actress and singer, who is making her Bollywood debut opposite Salman Khan in the war-drama Tubelight. The actress broke the internet after she posted few pictures from the sets on the social media. Since then everyone is curious to know about Zhu Zhu. Family background
Born on July 19, 1984 in Beijing, Zhu Zhu’s grandfather was associated with the People’s Liberation Army.
Education
The actress holds a degree in Electronics and Information Engineering from the Beijing Technology and Business University. Post her graduation, she pursued designing.
MTV VJ
Before trying her luck in films she was a pop-star and a VJ for MTV China. She participated in a singing competition in Beijing from which she got the opportunity to host the shows at MTV.

Film Debut
The actress made her film debut in 2010 along with Andy Lau and Gong Li in a Chinese romantic comedy ‘What Women Want’. She was also seen in ‘The man with the iron fists’ opposite Russell Crowe. Other movies to her credit include Shanghai Calling, Last Flight, The Old Cinderella, tales of Mystery and A Bed Affair, among others. She has also appeared in Netflix’s Marco Polo.


Relationship status
The actress was in a relationship for a year in 2013 with Lapo Elkann, the grandson of Gianni Agnelli. Agnelli is the CEO of Fiat Automobiles. Her current relationship status is ‘single’.
Loves horse-riding
Like her Tubelight co-star Salman Khan, the actress too loves horses and is a passionate horse rider.
Fashion talks
The beautiful actress has been featured in fashion magazines such as Teen Vogue, Vanity Fair and Variety. She has also teamed up with fashion houses including Calvin Klein, Gucci, Michael Kors and McCartney.
