WWE News: SmackDown Live viewership minutely drops after TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs

James Ellsworth had a role to play in the main event, once again affecting Dean Ambrose’s match
After a tumultuous and engrossing TLC: Tables, Ladders, & Chairs, where AJ Styles defended his WWE World Championship, SmackDown Live actually recorded a drop in viewership according to WrestlingInc.com. The report stated that the Blue brand brought home 2.479 million viewers, but that was 1% down from previous week’s numbers.
A total of 2.505 million viewers had watched the SmackDown Live show from last week. This week’s numbers pushed the show to #8 in terms of viewership on cable, but SDLive was behind a number of shows, such as Curse of Oak Island and the O’Reilly factor.
The Blue brand was also below RAW’s viewership which peaked at 2.976 million, but that number too was lower than last week’s viewership of 3.110 million. There was some good news for SmackDown Live, though, as it was ranked the #2 show for viewers in the demographic group of 18-49.
It certainly was interesting to note that the ratings for SmackDown Live took a dive, after the go-home show to TLC: Tables, Ladders, & Chairs had actually seen a rise in viewers. Even more surprising was the fact that the blow over from the shocking victory for AJ Styles over Dean Ambrose at the pay per view could not give the Blue brand a much-needed rise in ratings.
The main event of last night’s SmackDown Live saw Ambrose battle the Miz for the Intercontinental Title. It seemed to be going all hunky dory for the former WWE World Champion, but it was James Ellsworth once again who cost the Lunatic Fringe the title.

Ellsworth had pushed Ambrose’s ladder when the latter was all set to win the title at TLC. Styles took advantage of the push as he kept his title, while Ambrose crashed through a pile of tables. Ellsworth claimed that he would be challenging Styles for the World Championship but couldn’t face the champion due to an injury Styles picked up at TLC.

Cyclone Vardah: How and why was it named

Cyclones explained: How are they named, what constitutes them and how do they differ from typhoons and hurricanes. How are cyclones named? Tropical cyclones passing over the northern part of the Indian Ocean are named by eight countries in the region, namely India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Myanmar, Oman and Thailand. The process only began in 2004, fours years after World Meteorological Organization agreed in principle to allow them to name cyclones originating in the Bay of Bengal and Arabian Sea. The alphabet system is used to designate the name of a cyclone, which means the name of the year’s first cyclone begins with A. Previously, till 1979, cyclones were only given female names. Male names were only introduced in the same year. World Meteorological Organization (WMO) maintains the database of cyclone/hurricane/typhoon names. There are six lists of names used in rotation and they are recycled every six years. The names are picked from this pre-designated l...

Jayalalitha angry speech in Assembly- Trending

Thinkstock photo Dubai, December 6 Men who exercise between three and five times a week may improve their sperm counts and other measures of sperm quality in just a few months, according to a new study. Researchers from Urmia University in Iran also found that men exercising moderately and continuously improved their sperm quality more than those following popular intensive exercise programmes like high intensity interval training (HIIT). One in three couples struggle to conceive due to poor semen quality. The only treatment available for couples unable to conceive naturally is In vitro fertilisation (IVF), but using poor quality sperm may increase the risk of miscarriage, birth defects and the development of childhood cancer, researchers said. Current advice for men seeking to improve their chances of conceiving include combining healthy eating with regular exercise while giving up smoking and reducing the intake of alcohol. However, the link between exercise and s...
