When the disproportionate assets case was transferred to Karnataka by an order of the Supreme Court, all assets and property seized were transferred from Tamil Nadu.
A room in the first floor of the City Civil Court complex was chosen as the place where the seized material would be kept. The City Armed Reserve personnel was put on duty to guard the material. At any given time there would be 4 cops on duty.
