Alcohol is banned in UAE. Here people need to have a license for consuming alcohol. However, there are drinking arrangements for foreigners in hotels but it is illegal to roam after drinking. Also, you can only drink at your home even when you have license. There are also very strict laws against consumption of alcohol while working. If you get caught consuming alcohol or drugs then may go behind bars. Not only is this but storing alcohol without license a criminal offence too.
